Mark D. Bright (December 27, 1955 – March 27, 2024) was an artist whose long runs on Iron Man and Green Lantern made him one of the signature superhero artists of the late 1980s. His work on Iron Man — including the landmark Armor Wars storyline — defined Tony Stark's look for a generation and provided partial visual inspiration for later film adaptations. Bright was also a co-creator of Quantum and Woody for Valiant Comics and was one of the creative architects behind Milestone Media's Icon alongside Dwayne McDuffie and Denys Cowan.
