Kevin Michael Rowe is a Kingston, New York-based comic book creator and community organizer operating under the studio name Hopeful Rowemantics Studios. He is best known locally as the organizer of the annual Kingston Independent Comic Expo (KICx) and the founder of Funny Pages, a monthly comics and zine-making night held in Kingston. His self-published comics work includes the N.A.R.L.I. series, Original Gentrifier, Six Times, Burning of Kingston, Invasion on Center Street, and The Proposal. He is an active advocate for indie comics and a central figure in building Kingston's indie comics community infrastructure.
