Julian Shaw is a professional comic book artist based in Texas and a Marvel Comics contributor. A husband and father, Shaw has worked across some of Marvel's most beloved characters including Spider-Man, Spider-Boy, Moon Girl, Moon Knight, X-Men Unlimited, Captain America: Symbol of Truth, Edge of the Spider-Verse, and Wakanda. He is also co-creator of Recluse, an original creator-owned series.
Shaw contributed the art on Noh Face — co-written by Ernest Dickerson and Rose Geddes — for Noir Is the New Black Season 2 (FairSquare Graphics), making his mark on one of the most celebrated Black-led anthology series in independent comics.
In 2026, the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards celebrated its most diverse nominee class in the 38-year history of the awards, with a historic number of Black creators nominated across categories. Shaw received a 2026 Eisner nomination for Best Anthology as the artist on Noh Face within Noir Is the New Black Season 2 (FairSquare Graphics).
