Jules Scheele (born 1984) is a British illustrator, graphic facilitator, and comic book artist. They are the illustrator of the acclaimed non-fiction graphic novel series co-created with Meg-John Barker — including Queer: A Graphic History (Icon Books, 2016) and Gender: A Graphic Guide (Icon Books, 2019) — which illuminate the histories and theories of queer thought, LGBTQ+ activism, and gender in an accessible, witty visual style.
Scheele runs One Beat Zines, a feminist zine collective and distributor based in the UK. Their illustration work spans editorial, publishing, and activist graphic facilitation.
