Jason Concepcion is an American writer, journalist, podcaster, host, and television producer who first gained widespread attention through his popular Twitter account @netw3rk. In 2014 he was hired as a staff writer at Grantland, where he covered the NBA and pop culture, and in 2016 joined The Ringer as a writer and podcaster, eventually rising to Senior Creative.
At The Ringer, Concepcion co-hosted NBA Desktop — for which he and producer Jason Gallagher won a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Digital Innovation (2019) and received a follow-up nomination — as well as Binge Mode (with Mallory Rubin), which received deep-dive treatment of Game of Thrones (named #1 podcast of 2017 by Time), Harry Potter (named #4 podcast of 2018 by Time), and the Marvel Universe. He also co-hosted Talk the Thrones and After the Thrones.
He hosts X-Ray Vision (Crooked Media/iHeart), a weekly pop culture and comics podcast co-hosted with Rosie Knight and Cody Ziglar, covering Marvel, DC, and prestige television. He is also the co-producer and co-host of The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon (HBO).
