Grant Morrison is a Scottish comic book writer known for groundbreaking work on Doom Patrol, The Invisibles, JLA, Batman, All-Star Superman, New X-Men, The Green Lantern, and numerous other titles for DC and Marvel Comics. In a 2020 interview with Mondo2000, Morrison stated: "I've been non-binary, cross-dressing, 'gender queer' since I was 10 years old." Morrison has written some of the most significant genderqueer characters in mainstream comics history, including Danny the Street (Doom Patrol), Lord Fanny (The Invisibles), and Ystin (Seven Soldiers). Morrison was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2024.
