George Tuska (April 26, 1916 – October 16, 2009) was an American comic book and newspaper strip artist with a career spanning seven decades. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, to Russian immigrant parents, Tuska is best known for his long runs drawing Iron Man and Luke Cage for Marvel Comics in the 1960s and 1970s, as well as for his work on the Captain Marvel titles in the 1940s and the syndicated Superman newspaper strip in the late 1970s. A reliable and versatile craftsman, he contributed to virtually every major title at Marvel and DC. He received the Inkpot Award in 1997.
