Frank Giacoia (July 6, 1924 – February 4, 1988) was an American comic book inker widely regarded as one of the greatest in the history of the medium. Born in New York City, Giacoia broke into comics in the early 1940s and became a beloved presence across both Marvel and DC Comics for nearly five decades. He was the preferred inker of numerous legends including Jack Kirby, Gil Kane, Gene Colan, and John Romita Sr. Giacoia inked the first appearance of the Punisher in Amazing Spider-Man #129 (1974) and worked on the daily Spider-Man newspaper strip for several years. He was posthumously inducted into the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame in 2016.
