Chuck Brown

Chuck Brown is an Eisner and Ringo Award-winning comic book writer and co-creator based in South Carolina. A self-publisher for over 18 years, he is best known as co-creator of Bitter Root (Image Comics) with David F. Walker and Sanford Greene, which won the Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series in both 2020 and 2022 and is being adapted into a film produced by Ryan Coogler and directed by Regina King. His other creator-owned work includes On the Stump (Image) and the webcomic 1000 (co-created with Sanford Greene on Webtoon). He has also written for Marvel (The Punisher, Wolverine, Black Panther) and Dark Horse (Rotten Apple).
