Brenden Fletcher is a New York Times bestselling comic book and animation writer. He is best known for co-writing DC Comics' Batgirl of Burnside with Cameron Stewart and Babs Tarr — a critically acclaimed run that revitalized the character — and for creating the YA mystery-adventure series Gotham Academy at DC, named Entertainment Weekly's Best New Series of 2015. He also co-created Black Canary at DC and wrote the Eisner Award-nominated fantasy series Isola for Image Comics with artist Karl Kerschl. Additional credits include Motor Crush (Image Comics), contributions to Ghost in the Shell: Global Neural Network (Kodansha) and the Attack on Titan Anthology, and co-creating Power Rangers: Pink for BOOM! Studios. He contributed a Flash story to the Eisner and Harvey Award-winning Wednesday Comics anthology. He currently lives in New York.
