Brandon M. Easton is a professional comic book writer, screenwriter, and educator based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Baltimore, he holds degrees from Ithaca College, Boston University, and CUNY-Lehman College. A multiple Glyph Award winner, he is best known in indie comics for Watson and Holmes (New Paradigm Studios), which earned him the 2014 Eisner nomination for Best Single Issue, and Shadowlaw (Arcana/Platinum Studios), for which he won the 2013 Glyph Award for Best Writer. His mainstream credits include ThunderCats (Warner Bros. Animation), Transformers: War for Cybertron (Netflix), and work for Marvel and DC. He also produced and directed the documentary Brave New Souls: Black Sci-Fi and Fantasy Writers of the 21st Century (2014). Easton is a frequent ECBACC presence and a prominent voice on race and representation in the comics industry.
