Asiah Fulmore is a Black American freelance illustrator and comic book artist based between Columbia, South Carolina and Bangkok, Thailand. She holds a BFA in Visual Communication from Winthrop University in South Carolina and interned under comic book illustrator and writer Sanford Greene from 2019 to 2024. She has worked with DC Comics, Disney, NBC Universal, Surfing Giant Studios, and Benedict College. Her debut comic work was Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld — a DC Comics middle-grade graphic novel written by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale (released November 9, 2021) — for which she provided all interior illustrations and colors. She also illustrated Family Time by Lily and Robert Windom, and has contributed to DC Power 2024.
In 2026, the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards celebrated its most diverse nominee class in the 38-year history of the awards, with a historic number of Black creators nominated across categories. Fulmore received a nomination for Best New Series for Temporal (Mad Cave Studios), co-created with writer Stephanie Williams.
