Amandla Stenberg (born October 23, 1998, Los Angeles, California) is an American actress and comics writer. They are best known for their acting work, including Rue in The Hunger Games (2012), Maddy in Everything, Everything (2017), and Donald in Bones and All (2022). In comics they co-wrote Niobe: She is Life (2015) with Sebastian A. Jones of Stranger Comics, a series illustrated by Ashley A. Woods featuring a half-elf, half-demon protagonist. The first issue was the first nationally distributed comic with a Black female author, artist, and lead hero. They also co-wrote the sequel Niobe: She is Death (2017). A foreword to Niobe: She is Life was contributed by Viola Davis.
