Nadeshicon

Nadeshiko is the Japanese word for the carnation flower, specifically the Diantus superbus . Flowers, spring, the month of April… Furthermore, “yamato nadeshiko” is an expression referring to the perfect Japanese woman; a fun cultural tidbit.

Nadeshicon was born from the hope, commitment, and passion of otaku. It's a fan festival made by fans, for fans.

Nadeshicon began with a Japanese cultural dinner and day at Club Animé Québec . This event was free and served as a prelude to what would be called the Nadeshicon Festival the following year. Mandated by Club Animé Québec, an Executive Council (EC) was appointed to organize the festival.
