Summary
FairSquare Graphics LLC (formerly FairSquare Comics LLC) is an award-winning, family, immigrant, and minority-owned independent comic book and graphic novel publisher founded in June 2019 by Fabrice Sapolsky (co-creator of Spider-Man Noir for Marvel), Kristal Adams Sapolsky (Netflix, Hulu), and Ethan Sapolsky. Registered in Florida with editorial offices in New York, the company's mission is to promote and give exposure to immigrants, minorities, and underrepresented creators — summed up in their mantra 'Comics from the rest of us.' FairSquare offers creators 100% retention of their intellectual property rights. Notable titles include Noir Is the New Black (a 16-story anthology by 40 Black creators, with a star rating from Publishers Weekly and 2,000+ copies sold worldwide), One-Hit Wonder, Intertwined, Lady-Bird, and Happy Endings. In 2021 the company launched Mutiny Magazine, an anthology publication. A Boy Named Rose received an Eisner Award nomination in 2024. FairSquare is distributed nationally through IPG and maintains a Substack with thousands of subscribers.
