Tony Weaver Jr. is an Atlanta-born writer, educator, and social entrepreneur who is the founder and CEO of Weird Enough Productions — a national nonprofit that uses diverse comics to address the youth mental health crisis and improve social-emotional learning for hundreds of thousands of students annually. A graduate of Elon University, Weaver created The UnCommons, an award-winning webcomic with over 2.5 million readers, as the flagship of Weird Enough's educational programming. In 2018 he made history as the first comic book writer ever selected for Forbes' 30 Under 30, and has since been named a Champion for Change by CNN, a History Shaker by Coca-Cola, and a Global Barrier Breaker by Marriott International. Weird Enough's curriculum has reached over 600,000 students nationwide through partnerships with AT&T, Crunchyroll, and school districts across the country. He is also the author of the middle grade graphic novel Weirdo. Weaver is a TEDx speaker and has appeared before world leaders advocating for the transformative power of diverse storytelling in education.
