Monique Dixon is a writer and co-creator of Kastor, an independent comic book published through a successful Kickstarter campaign. Born in Jamaica West Indies and raised in the Bronx, she currently resides in New Rochelle, NY.
Kastor: From the Bronx to the Underworld is a supernatural action comic following two friends — Uni Nix, a retail worker, and Monique Clarke, a nurse educator — as they try to keep the existence of demons a secret from the human population. Two girls who grew up in the Bronx find themselves the unlikely gatekeepers between earth and the underworld, fighting demons while dealing with the everyday struggles of being a functioning human adult.
