Nilah Magruder is an American comic artist, author, storyboard artist, and animator. Born in Pasadena, Maryland, she is the author of M.F.K., which won the first Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity in Comics in 2015. In 2016, she became the first Black woman to write for Marvel Comics. She also works in storyboarding and animation for Disney and DreamWorks, and was a consultant on the character Spider-Byte for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
