Bianca Xunise is a Black nonbinary cartoonist, illustrator, designer, and writer based in Chicago, Illinois. In 2017, they earned an Ignatz Award for Promising New Talent for their autobiographical comic Say Her Name, about police brutality and social justice. In 2020, they became the first Black nonbinary cartoonist to be nationally syndicated when they joined the comic strip Six Chix, and also the second Black femme to be nationally syndicated. Their work has been featured in Vogue, The Washington Post, The Nib, and Believer Magazine. Their debut graphic novel Punk Rock Karaoke was published by Penguin Teen in 2024.
